This was not our first visit to this park. We, many times are drawn back to areas of this great country to enjoy a much closer view. Our visit last year was really by accident and only a short rainy day visit. We loved this park and promised ourselves we would journey back to spend more time. We decided to return this August after our wonderful visit to Ely, Minnesota. We love the landscape and wanted to enjoy shooting photos of it in different lights. We did this and one evening spent much time working to please ourselves with a capture of the beautiful sunset. I love the history of the park and we enjoyed seeing the cabin that Theodore Roosevelt had built . He loved this part of North Dakota and spent time here after the passing of his wife. I certainly suggest you visit this park if you are traveling near it. Blessings!
