The Blue-gray Gnatcatcher reminded me he was still frequenting my yard. He is so active, moving constantly through the trees eating bugs. I was happy to see him once more. He will move further south soon. The female Baltimore Oriole was gleaning bugs from the Bois D'Arc or Osage Orange tree. She also seemed to enjoy being in the American beauty berry bushes. The male was not to be seen while I was outside. The Carolina Chickadees flitted to the feeders taking one seed at a time. Chickadees then fly to a tree branch and crack the seed, then begin the process again. The water drips are such a draw for all the birds. I am totally entertained when a feathered friend is seen splashing and enjoying the bath.
