I wanted to share this beautiful day! We were in upstate New York, Lake Placid area. We loved this part of the state.  This particular day was a gorgeous drive up Whiteface Mountain.  We stopped at the gate and were told it was foggy at the summit. We decided to drive up and see whatever we could, weather permitting.  Words are difficult to find describing the breathtaking views and beauty we were blessed to see. The winter skiing must truly be amazing! The views from the summit changed depending on the clouds, fog or clearing sky. I had never experienced actually being at cloud level.
