Fall is moving birds

An exciting evening to say the least. My husband and I were sitting on the back porch. The orange/black bird caught his eye. Wow. A flock of Baltimore orioles visited our Pine trees in the back yard. We witnessed two come to the water bath. My husband was practically jumping out of his chair. He is a new birder and loves the thrill of sighting and watching these beauties. I find great joy in sharing this hobby with him.

Moving Northeast

I will be posting new sightings and bird fun in the next few weeks. I will be enjoying the East coast and other northeast areas. Cape May,New Jersey is on my list for birding. Summer is winding down and I am so ready for fall. I look forward to viewing more feathered friends. I enjoy many Northern Cardinals, Eastern Bluebirds, Blue Jays, Carolina Chickadees, 4 Dove species, Eastern Kingbird, Tufted Titmouse, Northern Mockingbirds, Carolina Wrens, and House finches in my yard all summer.
